The PK300 Grill and Smoker has a cast aluminum cooker and the cart (including the legs) is also aluminum. The PK300 does not come with a thermometer, but there is a pre-drilled hole that has a bolt in it. If you'd like to add a PK BBQ thermometer by Tel-Tru to your order, when you receive your grill, remove the bolt and easily install the thermometer.
